Council this week approved the 2018-2022 Council Governance Review that sets out the committee structure, policies and procedures for this Term of Council.

Also at Council, a report providing options on retail cannabis stores in Ottawa was tabled Wednesday Council will consider the Report on Ontario Cannabis Legislation and Cannabis Retail Stores at a special meeting on Thursday, December 13^th 2018. Residents, groups and organizations are welcome to speak to the report on December 13th by registering as a public delegation. Because Council is meeting as Committee of the Whole, public delegations will be permitted to make a five-minute presentation to Council.

OTTAWA, May 15, 2017 – Councillor Darouze welcomes Hard Rock Casino Ottawa as the service provider for the Ottawa Area Gaming Bundle. This $320 million partnership will bring more than 1900 construction jobs and 2000 ongoing jobs in the community. This is a great initiative that will boost our local economy and will provide local jobs for our rural residents.
